![]() ![]() My favourite games are car racing sims and these only push the temps up to the low 50's on my FrontBase (mid 40's in HWMonitor). Top graph is CPU stress test and graph below is Memory stress test followed my benchmark result. I appreciate your thoughts on the graphs below. They generally peaked at 63 degrees C although the Benchmark suggests that it must have momentarily topped out at 67 degrees C. I know from reading various sources that the memory controller is on the CPU, but is this normal? Could it be a sign that my thermal paste is not applied correctly? I've never had a problem applying paste before and have done this many times in the past.Īt 4.5GHz and 3000MHz RAM my temps are looking pretty good. My last system has lasted 9 years and is still going.īut my question is this, using Intel XTU to stress test the system I have noticed that I get higher CPU temps when stress testing the memory than when I test the actual CPU. Normally I try and take good care of my PC's and they tend to last me well. ![]() ![]() I don't intend to seriously overclock, just experimenting out of curiosity. I've had my rig stable for around the past 8 months and thought it time to push it a little to see what is possible. ![]()
